The fully furnished rental space is a 780 sq ft master en-suite. A new edition built in 2022. Replete with its own driveway, entrance, deck, walk-in closet, black-out window treatments. So no matter what shift you work. Sleep will come to you. A LARGE bathroom with double vanity sinks. Non fog/lit mirror and dressing vanity, private commode area with its own window view and door. Exiting double doors brings you into the laundry area with full sized washer and drier. I have also put a mini frig and micro in the granite sink countertop area. It is nice to have coffee or tea on one’s own in the am. Through another set of double doors is the entryway to the house/library and then left into the spacious kitchen also with an eating area and couch.

Welcome to Thorner Haus. and the Carlisle area of Cumberland Valley Pa. We are the captial seat county and have all the attractions that go along with that. From car shows to three colleges within a 2 mile radius and the downtown a walkable 4 blocks there is plenty to see and do. Or just relax on the deck or bring a chair to the garden.
The house layout is basically the en-suite, kitchen and laundry is on the first floor. You have use of all of that and your "home" replete with private keyed entrance and drive. Enjoy the deck (as well as the Gas BBQ, I will give you a tour of that if you wish). And access to walks and trails and the downtown from your doorstep.
Most cleaning supplies are on hand. please let me know if you need anything. I also set up a hot pot and mugs ect so you can have tea or coffee without having to see anyone first thing in the am, if you wish :) The laundry is easily accessible on your way to the full kitchen. You also have a mini frig in by the granite countertop sink.
Garbage is picked up on Monday am. the cans are outside the side porch.
Wifii codes are in the center box on the dresser.
Don't hesitate to ask for any needs and suggestions on the area. I work most days and am happy to share the area with you as I can.
I typically rent only to single people, but am understanding of some visits. Please treat the home as you would like your own home to be treated. I do expect the space to be kept clean and left clean.
The kitchen is a share. Cooking is encouraged. I love to as well.
If you have a bicycle and would like to put it in the garage, that can be arranged with your own key.
I have recycling boxes by the back door. There is no smoking or vaping of anything in the house.
The rest of the house I fully inhabit and is my personal space.
I look forward to having you here and sharing this lovely home.
The kitchen is great. with a view to the back and the bird feeders . a big island for food preparation, a six burner gas stove, dishwasher and a couch to lounge upon and table to eat at. Please clean up after yourself as of course I will too.
I will give you a tour of the dishwasher and stove when you arrive. the frig and micro are self explanatory. Also the washer and dryer I will give a tour.
All food garbage specifically goes into the kitchen garbage (I do NOT put food down the sink disposal). if particularly smelly, please tie off and deposit outside into the provided for garbage and recycle cans. other garbage can also go to the garbage and recycles rinsed and flattened to the green container by the side porch.
Tenant parking has your own driveway at the back of the house, where your deck entrance is located. Access is off Ash Avenue. (it runs parallel to college st)
Nearby restaurants: Too many to mention. Just google what you like. we have many restaurants and many ethic choices as well. you will never go hungry in Carlisle Pa :)
